NOTERING: En mycket god, fruktig, mjuk whisky med inslag av päron, kakao
Official notes: “This Dufftown distillery, which has the same name as the church, draws water from springs in the Conval Hills. Apparently Malcolm II defeated the Danes near here in 1010. The initial nose constantly evolves, and is sweet and syrupy with vanilla honey and oats. It also has pear and fresh flowers. At full strength the velvety and smooth palate is predominantly rich (dark chocolate) with medium length. Adding water makes it fresher with clean linen, peach and Golden Syrup. The palate is incredibly smooth with a sensational liquid velvet finish.”
